Design of the Mount Christie community was accomplished by a team of award winning designers with national reputations in land planning, architecture, engineering, and landscaping who worked with officials in Metamora Township to create a unique residential community that enhances the character and reputation of this area with its long, rich history of equestrian activities and spectacular “country estates.”

At completion, Mount Christie Estates will consist of only 34 beautiful estate sites located on 95 acres of scenic grounds that include hills, heavily wooded ravines and the former ski Mountain known as Mount Christie, which overlooks a lake and many miles of beautiful countryside.

The site plan for Mount Christie was carefully created so that that each home faces a nature area, and no home sits directly across from another. This ensures that pleasant country views are available for everyone to enjoy. Each site ranges from 1 to 2 acres, and almost 50 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds have been left "open" for all to enjoy.
